Brother Dan here ...
I'm based in Northern Nevada and have had the pleasure of entertaining
audiences in the region, across the country, and throughout Europe since my
mid-teens.
My musical influences include big doses of acoustic guitarists and singer
songwriters of the 1970s, and my extensive and eclectic repertoire consists of popular songs from lots of different styles and generations.
I've been writing and performing my own music in recent years and am
currently preparing for studio sessions with plans to begin releasing new
material by early summer 2020.
I post new content here frequently, and respond to as many comments as
I can. Please, reach out and say hi!

About Brother Dan
I've had an amazing life, and made my living (for most of it) playing acoustic guitar, singing, and entertaining.
My career was interrupted by end-stage liver disease in 2009, followed by a six-year wait for a liver transplant. I received a life-saving liver transplant from an as-yet-anonymous donor in 2015.
Now cured of HepC and fully recovered from my ordeal, my perspective on life has changed, and to quote one of my favorite new original songs, I've "Got No Time (For Singin' the Blues)." Yes, I still play some blues, but even the ballads I play are infused with an upbeat energy.
I hope that my story and my music assure you that you're not alone in the challenges of life, help you find peace in your circumstances, and let you feel my love through the healing power of music.
